AssetTrail Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AssetTrail (the “App”) handles user information.

1. Information stored in the App

The App stores asset balances, record dates, cash-flow amounts, notes, display settings, reminder settings, app-lock settings, and on-device information related to your Plus entitlement on your device.

Your record contents are not sent to or stored on servers operated by the developer. When you export a backup, you choose where to save or share that file.

2. Notifications and device authentication

Reminders use local notifications. Face ID or device authentication used by the app lock is processed on your device through Apple’s systems; the developer does not receive biometric information.

3. Advertising

The free version may display ads using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google or its advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, IP addresses, device information, and information about ad impressions or interactions. Ads are not displayed after you purchase Plus.

4. Usage analytics

The App uses Firebase Analytics to improve quality. Information such as app launches, use of screens and features, record and import counts, purchase-flow actions, and device information may be sent to Google.

Asset balances, cash-flow amounts, and note contents are not sent to Firebase Analytics. Analytics collection is disabled in development builds. See Firebase Privacy and Security for details.

5. In-app purchases

Plus purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. The App and its developer do not collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policy.

6. Disclosure to third parties

The developer does not sell or disclose asset records or notes entered in the App. Advertising, analytics, and payment providers may handle information as described above, or information may be disclosed where required by law.

7. Retention and deletion

On-device records remain until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App. You are responsible for managing and deleting exported backup files. Information collected by third-party services is retained according to their policies.

8. Children’s privacy

The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when laws or App features change. The last-updated date on this page will be revised when changes are made.
